I am Yusheng Wang (王 鈺晟). Currently working as an assistant professor at the Research into Artifacts, Center for Engineering (RACE), the University of Tokyo. My research interests include computer vision, underwater robotics, and robot manipulation.

Work Experience
2023.7~ | Assistant Professor, the Research into Artifacts, Center for Engineering, the University of Tokyo |
2022.10~2023.6 | Project Assistant Professor, the Department of Precision Engineering, the University of Tokyo |
Research
One of my primary research areas focuses on 2D forward-looking sonar for underwater robotics, with the goal of addressing fundamental issues related to the sensor. These include resolving the missing dimension during projection and achieving pose estimation with acoustic images. Unlike optical cameras, there exist many open problems in 3D geometry. I am working on this project with Prof. Atsushi Yamashita and Prof. Yonghoon Ji.
Recently, I have been working as an assistant professor in Ota Lab at the University of Tokyo, focusing on robot grasping and human-robot interaction.
